Bob was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He is a native Floridian, who attended both undergraduate school and law school
in South Florida. He has been a sole practitioner in Broward County, Florida, since 1984. He has been practicing Marital
and Family law since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 1980. Bob is Florida Bar Board Certified In Marital and Family
Law, and has been since 1995. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Martimonial Lawyers, since March, 2000. Bob
has also achieved the highest possible "AV" lawyer rating by Martindale Hubbell. In addition, he has been included as one
of Florida's "Superlawyers" for 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. He is also listed as a "Top Lawyer" in the prestigious South Florida
Legal Guide, for the past several years including 2009. Bob is also Florida Supreme Court Certifed as a Family Law Mediator and
has been so designated for years. Recently, Bob became trained in Collaborative Law by the American Academy of Matrimonial
Lawyers. Bob is past chairperson of the Family Law Section of the Broward County Bar Association. While some "family law
practitioners" practice marital and family law in addition to other areas of law, Bob has devoted his practice, since 1995, exclusively
to marital and family law.
Karen was Born in Buffalo, New York on March 26, 1968. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts
degree. She obtained her JD degree from the University of Florida and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1993. Karen is
a member of the Florida Bar, in good standing. Prior to joining Sidweber & Weintraub, P.A., formerly Robert W. Sidweber,
P.A., Karen was a partner in the prominent family law firm of Bluestein, Wayne and Weintraub, P.A., in Miami, with whom she was
associated from 1996 until 2007. Karen has devoted her entire legal career exclusively to the practice of marital and family
law. Karen has been listed in the prestigious South Florida Legal Guide as a "Top Up & Comer" in the area of Family Law
for the years 2004-2009. Karen was a participating member of The First Family Law American Inns of Court, and was on the Executive
Council of the Broward County Family Law Bar Association for 2008 and has lectured at the Pro Se Clinic of the Family Law Section
of the Broward County Bar Association.
